Terms & Rental Conditions

1. Merchant and contract

BeachPackr arranges the rental and local handover/collection of beach equipment. Local certified operators act as contracted fulfilment providers for BeachPackr; the customer purchases from the merchant identified above.

2. Booking and payment

A booking is submitted online and becomes confirmed when payment is successfully received, unless the checkout explicitly offers another payment method. Prices shown before the order is placed include the charges stated at checkout. A temporary inventory hold may expire if payment is not completed within the checkout time limit.

3. Rental period, handover and return

The customer must provide accurate contact, handover and return details. Equipment must be available for return at the agreed place and time. Airport customers should provide a flight number where possible so operational delays can be handled reasonably.

4. Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable EU or national consumer law. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to the contract, it may be exercised within the legally applicable period. If the customer expressly asks BeachPackr to begin performance before any applicable withdrawal period ends, the customer acknowledges that applicable law may require payment proportionate to performance already provided. 5. Commercial cancellation and no-show rules

Subject always to mandatory statutory rights, BeachPackr's standard commercial policy provides free cancellation until 72 hours before the scheduled first handover. Later eligible cancellations may receive 50% of the booking price. Customer no-shows are normally refundable at 0%. Any different rule shown in the booking confirmation prevails for that booking.

6. Safe use and weather

The customer must follow the Equipment Safety Guidance, manufacturer instructions supplied with equipment, local beach rules and instructions from the local operator. Shade equipment must not be used in unsafe wind or weather. The customer is responsible for supervising equipment while in use and for stopping use where conditions are unsafe.

7. Loss, damage and cleaning

Normal rental wear is expected. The customer may be charged a reasonable amount for equipment that is lost, stolen, deliberately damaged or damaged through use contrary to the Safety Guidance. BeachPackr will document and explain any proposed charge before collection where reasonably possible.

8. Service issues and refunds

Problems should be reported promptly to hello@beachpackr.com so BeachPackr can arrange replacement, repair, collection or an appropriate refund. A local operator does not independently determine BeachPackr customer refunds unless expressly authorised.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

Complaints may be sent to partner@beachpackr.com. Consumers may also contact the competent consumer-protection authority, the competent Hungarian conciliation body: [configure in Admin → Settings], [configure in Admin → Settings], , and for qualifying cross-border EU disputes the European Consumer Centres Network.

10. Governing law

The contract is governed by Hungarian law. This choice does not deprive a consumer habitually resident in another country of mandatory consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.
